Picked up the initial pressing of the cd yesterday – everything looks pretty good. hats off to Green Room Productions for the quick turnaround and great work.
Here’s a new tune ripped from the final cd. It’s called ‘Be Cool’ and is pretty much self-explanatory. No need for roundabout inferences on this one. Enjoy.
Holt plays a nice Rhodes part and Producer Paul Williams does the silly falsetto at the end.
Cd is being pressed this week. Thanks to Amanda and Kris for the great artwork! Band practiced yesterday – we were a bit rusty, but still rocking. Another practice or two and we’ll be good to go with the new material. I know this sounds odd, but the way the cd was recorded (a few rehearsals – then record while adding new or different parts during the sessions) kinda forced us to relearn a lot of the material. Chris and I will have a few separate vocal practices to get all of the new harmonies together too, while Trey is on tour with Sorta.
 We are still trying to finalize the date and location for the cd release party/performance. Urgh. Hopefully I’ll have something solidified by the end of the week. Will letcha know.
